There are so many ways to volunteer with Tower Hill, both in the community and right here in our church. Below are ways to get involved – for people of all ages and abilities!

Tower Hill is very active throughout our community. Through hands-on service to our homeless, marginalized and impoverished neighbors, opportunities abound at Tower Hill to give back in gratitude and show the love of Christ working alongside others with whom we partner.  Our congregation also provides financial support to these worthwhile organizations. LUNCH BREAK is Red Bank’s local soup kitchen. Join Tower Hill there the third weekend of every month as we prepare and serve a hearty breakfast to hungry men, women and children in need of a hot meal and fellowship. Adult and teenage (16+) volunteers are needed every month. Sign up for Lunch Break in the lobby.

THE PAN-AM MOTEL in Eatontown serves as a temporary shelter for homeless and transient families from Eastern Monmouth County. Help us provide hot meals and clothing for their residents. Adult and teenage volunteers are needed to bring hot dinners and clothing on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month. Meet at Tower Hill in Webster Hall at 3PM to help sort and organize clothing; Prepare and organize meals in the Tower Hill kitchen at 4PM; Serve at Pan-Am Motel at 5:20PM. MANNA CLOSET is Tower Hill’s food pantry which provides food for needy clients at Lunch Break in Red Bank. Pick up a blue recyclable Manna bag at the church office entrance, fill it with groceries listed on the bag and return it. Super simple and an easy way to involve little ones in your family.

THANKSGIVING & EASTER DINNERS FOR THE NEEDY  Two times a year, Tower Hill delivers turkeys and hams with all the fixings for a complete holiday dinner to hundreds of needy families in our community. Donations and shopping bags of holiday groceries are collected prior to each holiday.

HABCORE is a non-profit community group in Monmouth and Ocean Counties that provides housing and support services in a family-like setting to individuals who are disabled, homeless, or unable to manage on their own. Adult volunteers are needed at HABcore for the Red Bank location to provide recreation activities on evenings and weekends. Come teach a skill, play board games or share a craft project.  Help plant a residents’ vegetable garden each spring. Contact Art Livingston to get involved.  

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC CHRISTMAS CHILD is our annual Christmas gift project for children at the Eva Russell School & Orphanage in Monte Plata, Dominican Republic. You can purchase age-appropriate gifts and school supplies for students and orphans, and Tower Hill will deliver them in time for Christmas. Sign-ups start in June. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY is an international organization that provides housing at a modest price for qualifying families. They build and rehabilitate simple, decent houses for carefully selected families. Donations and volunteer labor make these houses affordable. Tower Hill Church has many volunteer opportunities through its partnership with the Chapter of Habitat for Humanity Northeast Monmouth County.

ATHLETES INTERVARSITY is an evangelical campus mission serving more than 35,000 students and faculty nationwide, including our neighbors at Monmouth University. InterVarsity supports and engages the athletic community (teams, coaches, athletes, and trainers) in Jesus teachings in hopes to develop world changers.

LUNCH BREAK’S CHRISTMAS GIFT PROGRAM is held annually at Tower Hill in December. The day-long program provides gifts and holiday cheer to 450 local families through the efforts of almost 90 Tower Hill and Lunch Break volunteers. Sign-ups available in November.

ASLAN is a local Christian organization that reaches out to at-risk youth in Red Bank, Long Branch, and Asbury Park through Bible study, academic tutoring and summer programs. Aslan‘s offices are located at Tower Hill Church. Contact Rob Swikart for info.

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR (formally Love, INC) is a Christian-based clearinghouse for those seeking help in our community. They provide financial assistance, community resource guidance, cars and furniture for qualifying families. Project Connect is a program sponsored by Love Thy Neighbor to connect people able to provide Christmas gifts with local families who have requested help. MONMOUTH PRESBYTERY supports new and existing churches in sharing God’s word in Monmouth County. New ministry candidates are also sponsored by Monmouth Presbytery.
