Youth Ministries
We are committed to loveing Jesus Christ and, through His love, developing meaningful relationships with students. It is through these relationships that we desire to walk with students as they develop a deep relationship with Jesus. Our hope is that as a result of their relationship with Christ, students will go out and serve others in the hope that they will become mature followers of Jesus Christ.
"So deeply do we care for you that we are determined to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you have become very dear to us." - I Thessalonians 2:8
A Word to Parents We recognize that there is no one more important in shaping a student's life than his or her parent. Our hope is that our ministry is not only for students, but also reaches parents. We want to support our parents in anyway possible, acknowledging that your job as a parent is not easy. Because we truly care for your children, we want to be here to help in any way we can. If you have any input on our programs, feel free to contact Joe Cole, Director of Youth Ministries.
Volunteers to work with children and youth in our many Sunday morning and weekday programs are needed and welcomed. Watch the bulletin for sign-up times.
High School Ministry
- Campus Club Meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. A great place to get a mid-week recharge! We meet in Webster Hall for dinner and then head to the Youth Room for a bit of craziness! Campus Club is all about being real, about friends, laughs and learning about the amazing way Jesus loves us. A great place to bring your friends! This is most definitely the place to be...somebody!
- The ROCK Are you ready to take it to the next level? Are you ready to turn your faith up a notch? Then The ROCK is the place to be. We meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in Room 219! Bring your Bible as we look at a variety of issues concerning our everyday life such as priorities, self-image, prayer, and social justice to name a few. This is the core of our High School program and essential in developing a strong foundation in Christ!
- Confirmation Class Begins in February and meets after Church every Sunday. This 10-week class helps students form a solid Christian foundation. As students prepare to join the Church we focus on the essential tenants of the Christian faith. It is fun and upbeat with good times and the making of great friends. Students will join the Church the Sunday after Easter.
- Becoming This is a wonderful time for high school age girls to gather together and encourage one another in their faith.
Junior High Ministry
- JC & Company Join us on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. for food, fun and a few surprises! You never know what's going to happen at JC! Great music, great games and for sure some quality time to learn about our Great God! This is a wild time, often described as organized chaos! JC is a great place to grow in your faith, have some fun and get fueled up! It's a sweet place to bring your friends.
- Salt 'n Light (SNL) In Matthew 5:13-14 Jesus commands us to be 'Salt and Light' to the world.
Students are challenged to put this into action. We spend our time diggin' in God's word, seeking to understand how to live it out today! A great place to not only grow closer to Jesus but to learn how to study the Bible with passion! Meets every Sunday Morning from 10:45 - 12:45 p.m. in the Youth Room.
