Hello All!

It has been a great trip so far. We made it through the airports safely and managed to get all the suitcases except one...that would be Lindsay's. She handled it like a champ, and laughed off the fact that she will not have clothes for the next few days and was thrilled when the Continental Airline workers gave her a free toiletry kit including hairspray, razor and all!

After we found our bus...which is very cool by the way... (it has a round table in the back for playing cards), we headed for the Pergamon Museum where all of us wandered around in awe, then tired out. After that we went for our first walking adventure in Berlin to find a Geld automat (atm) and managed to get money for most of us.

Now we are hanging out at the Holiday Inn Express which is wonderful and is right down the road from a big field where most of the kids have already gone down to to play frisbee. All of us are hanging in pretty well, a few have managed to catch a couple hours of sleep, and now we are off to "Sandsation!" to eat ice cream and walk around some sand sculptures. It has definitely been a great adventure so far and the kids are absolutely wonderful. They all send their love and say hi, and are telling me to let you all know they will email soon.
