Hi Bell Parents and Friends,

After a good night’s sleep, we dressed in our beach attire and headed for Santa Monica Beach. We arrived at 10 AM and walked down Santa Monica Pier to the beach. The ringers enjoyed the sand, surf, and sun. Some did a little shopping on the Pier.

At 2:30, we went back to the motel for a quick shower and departed for Palos Verdes Estates, about an hour away. We arrived at the Neighborhood Church of Christ at 5:30, set up for the concert and were served a great supper by adult handbell ringers of the church. The church is in a gorgeous setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We ate our dinner on their patio overlooking the ocean. The ringers did very well and the concert was greatly appreciated by an audience of about 50. We were glad to see Marilyn Gray and Will & Marilyn Somers' son and daughter-in-law who live locally and attended the concert. On the way back to the motel, we spotted a “Cold Stone” ice cream shop and stopped for some great ice cream.

Day 4 was a great day!

Tonight, we need to pack for our trip to La Jolla and Coronado tomorrow.

All are doing well.
