2003 Calvin & Chapel Ringers Handbell Tour
Norway

Hi Bell Parents,

Here is our final report for the Bell Tour 2003:

We were up early for our journey home. Then it was onto the bus for a 45-minute trip to Oslo Airport. We arrived at 9:15 and started our check-in process. Security was tight. All of our luggage and carry-ons were inspected by hand. Then we had the usual X-Ray check of carry-ons, followed by a computer check of our passport number/names. Then we boarded SAS flight 907 for our flight home.

It was a smooth flight. Two meals and two movies helped the time pass. We landed at Newark around 1:05 PM EDT. After clearing customs, we were all happy to see the parents who were providing rides back to the church. All were happy to reunite with their families.

It was an excellent trip. Parents should be very proud of their children who were good ambassadors for Christ and for the United States. They set a fine example.

Dawn & I are very pleased and thankful to have been chaperones for our bell ringers on this trip. They are fine young people.

And thanks to Judith Werner, without whom this trip would not have been possible. She is a wonderful leader, director, and "pseudo mother" for our ringers.

George & Dawn
