Hi Bell Parents and Friends,

We had a wonderful concert in Basel last night which was very well received. The Hunkler family had us for dinner before the concert, and have been very generous and most helpful!

Today, we went to Lucerne and started with a cog rail ride up Mt. Pilatus to an altitude of 7,000 feet. It was a gorgeous day, and we had a perfect panoramic view. After two hours of hiking, we took the cable car ride down the other side of the mountain. We had the rest of the day on our own in the historic and fascinating city of Lucerne. After dinner we headed back to Arlesheim.

Tomorrow morning we are off to Zurich.
