NEW EVENTS!
WMT provides a welcoming and accepting way for women to become an
integral part of Tower Hill Church. All women of the church are
members of WMT and are welcome at all events. We have twelve
Circles and several interest
groups that provide a safe and nurturing environment for
fellowship, study, prayer and outreach to the community and to
the world.
"Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves
to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to work for
justice and peace, to see the women of Tower Hill grow in grace
and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior so they can influence
the world around them; to build a caring community of women that
witnesses to the promises of God's kingdom."
We believe God has a plan for each of us. It is our desire to
help women seek Him, and discover His plan for them.
Our Purpose
The purpose of this organization shall be:
Circles
Most Circles meet once a month either in the Circle members'
homes or at the church. The meeting
times and places are published in the weekly Church bulletin
and in
The Open Door.
Circles are open to all women who would like to be a part of our
friendship and study. To visit or join a Circle, contact a
Circle leader, and attend a meeting. We would love to have you
join us!
Recognizing the need to keep small groups at a size that encourages and enhances discussion and interaction, some Circles may temporarily "close" because of size. Circles are encouraged to choose mission projects or a mission focus. They are invited to publicize and include other circles or the congregation in their mission projects.
Thus, a Circle is:
- A place where faith is nurtured, and growth takes place through fellowship, prayer and outreach;
- A place where Christian leadership is born, nurtured, and sent forth to minister;
- A place where God blesses you with the gift of Christian friendships.
