Parking & Entrance Plan during Construction

During the construction period, it will not be possible to use the main Narthex entrance to the Sanctuary. This will impact our church family in several ways. People have thought hard about how to manage the impact.

• The balcony and the present Narthex area including restrooms cannot be used until construction is completed
• In the meantime, we will be entering and exiting using the doors at the front of the Sanctuary: either via the Chapel on the right side (the primary entrance) or via the main hallway on the left side.
• There will be some temporary changes in the traffic patterns and parking. Please refer to the above map
  • We cannot park either on the front (east) top level due to the construction-staging area or on the Chapel side of the Sanctuary. The drive along the Chapel side is one-way from up the hill (east to west).
  • There are two drop-off areas - one at the Chapel door and the other in the upper rear (west) parking lot. If the driver can walk up the hill, please go back out to Harding Road and enter the front parking levels from the bottom.
  • On Sundays, the entire upper rear (west) parking lot is reserved for handicapped and special needs parking for people who have difficulty walking up the front hill.
  • Please continue to park on the front parking levels if you are able to walk up the hill.
  • There is a dedicated walkway past the construction area to the Chapel entrance. The sidewalk alongside Webster Hall is also available for access to the building and the Patio.
  • The first few pews on the right and center-right are available for those who have difficulty walking. This will allow seating close to the Sanctuary entrance on the Chapel side.
  • The restrooms by Webster Hall will serve as our main restrooms. It is fine to use the small restroom by the Pastor's office - a single step up and down is required for access through the Chapel but there are no steps for access through the receptionist area.
  • Please use the Nursery for a baby-changing and crying room.
• On Sunday mornings, the fellowship coffee hour in Webster Hall will continue as usual.
