The Tower Hill Choir will present The Many Moods of Christmas on Sunday, December 10, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. A 35-piece orchestra of area musicians will accompany the 60-voice choir. Soloists will be from the choir and will have specific responsibilities. Charles Harris, Director of Music, will conduct the choir, orchestra and soloists. The Many Moods of Christmas, arranged by Robert Shaw and Robert Russell Bennett, consists of four suites each 12-15 minutes in length, containing beautiful arrangements of well-known sacred and secular carols. These suites are the first composed in this genre that has become very popular. Also included in the program will be Gustav Holst's Chrismas Day and Donald Fraser's This Christmastide.
